It has been quite a challenge at home but we are coping and it gets better day by day.

We would Like to thank you and the staff, especially Delene and Tannie Annelise for all your help. It has made a great difference in our life. He is a happy boy and gives us a great amount of pleasure. It is with pride that we can say we love working with him at home in the ways that SNAP has taught us, and to show our friends and family what difference you have brought on.

Keep up the good work SNAP team, and keep changing other autistic children’s lives as you changed Jan-Hendriks life.

We look forward to seeing you again in January 2016.

A Village of Hope is a book that was written by one of our moms, Esme Brink.  It documents the emotional and spiritual journey of a family whose only child was diagnosed with autism, their quest for funding and the challenges they had to overcome as well as the remarkable miracles they experienced. It is available from SNAP at R120 per book.

"Jandre van der Westhuizen was a SNAP student until 2008. Thanks to the help of SNAP he is now attending a primary school in Riebeeck Kasteel. He is doing so well! Socially he is adapting - yes we do have bumps in the road, but they are getting less. He attended his first Eistedfodd on the 3rd of August 2010 and did a poem in English called Robot. He was a trooper and was so proud of his silver star! Goes to show:There is life after autism!  For all you new moms, it does get ""better"". My heart wants to explode with pride! All my love Chrizelle"

"This is just a note to thank Annalies and all of you at SNAP for the difference you've made to our family. For the first time ever, Adam passed his third term exams well. He is so proud and we are even prouder. If it wasn't for Annalies who sat with me, even the last half hour of our week long workshop, to explain certain maths methods to me who could then show it to his teachers, he (we) would not have achieved this. I am so proud and happy, for the first time in 10 years that we saw results! I cannot thank you enough! Give our love to all the tutors and staff." Paulse Family

"Never can one say why the Lord chose your child to be special. Why it should happen to you. Does it mean that He trusts us with His special children? Only He knows the answers. What we know is that you have been chosen to guide us parents to love these children, to give hope and to comfort us when times are tough Thank you for caring when sometimes we stop. We have been on the SNAP program with our three-year-old son Pieter, for the past 6-7 months. He has made such good progress. He is a different boy. Thank you for this opportunity to continue and thank you to the dedicated staff supporting Annalies and for loving our children like you do."  Grateful Father

It is always heartwarming to receive feedback from parents who can see the difference in their child(ren) after a session or three at SNAP.
